We understand that finding a good company to provide the materials you need can be a challenge. So we’ve put together a list of questions contractors ask reclaimed timber companies to help you find exactly what you’re looking for, either from us or other reclaimed lumber yards.

  1. Is Reclaimed Timber Products equipped to handle large projects that extend into the future?

Yes. Reclaimed Timber Products has been in business for over 16 years. With an office in town, a lumber yard and a team of people to work with, we will provide you with reliable and consistent service.

  2. My clients are requesting to use reclaimed wood, how do I deliver exactly what they want in the right price range?

We understand that everybody has a different expectation for what they want from their reclaimed wood project. The best way for us to find what you and your clients want is to provide an image for us as a starting point. Then, we’ll search around our yard to find the best match for what you’re looking for. We will also give you a quote for your project so you know what cost to expect.

  3. Can you customize the wood I want to fit my project?

Yes. We have one of the largest saw mills in the state and can resaw and prepare the wood we have to fit the requirements of your project.

  4. Do you have a showroom or yard where I can see your products?

Yes, we have a large facility located in McMinnville, OR that houses all our reclaimed wood. With around 600,000 BF of timber on our yard at any time, we welcome visits from customers who want to get their hands on the wood during the buying process.

  5. What does the term “Green Building” mean?

Through utilizing innovative materials, technologies and designs, Green Building focuses on sustainable and environmentally conscious building practices. Its goal is to reduce pollution and waste and maximize energy use and recycled materials. The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification Process has established guidelines to facilitate green building on a global level.

  6. Is Reclaimed Timber Products a Green Building supplier?

Yes, we are.  All of our wood is reclaimed from old buildings, barns, rural structures and sustainable sources of reclaimed timber. Our materials are eligible for LEED points because reclaimed wood is considered recycled content and it meets the Materials & Resources criteria for LEED certification.
